EA Studio provided the schematic drawings for this vacation residence in Beaufort, NC.  The work included an addition to an existing house to add a new master bedroom suite, as well as a new detached building.  The new building included a garage with an art studio on the first floor and a guest living area on the second floor. To give the new building a sense of a smaller scale in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood, the second floor living area was designed to be within the roof system.
