This project provided an expansion of the existing cafe’ area to make a more efficient use of the space by eliminating a circulating path that was no longer used.   Dining staff now have more space to work behind a new counter, while new refrigerated merchandizers provide residents with additional refreshment options. The work proposed for the community's main kitchen includes renovations for new walk-in coolers and freezers, dry storage, and offices, as well as new epoxy flooring throughout to replace the existing quarry tile. EA Studio is currently assisting Springmoor with site planning and approval process to provide a temporary modular kitchen so that operations can continue while the work occurs in the main kitchen.
